This Vintage Shure Model 300 bidirectional Ribbon Microphone was introduced in 1952 and production stopped in 1982. Shure adressed many of the issues and problems associated with pressure gradient microphones. The 300 is small and compact, and unlike the RCA 77 series and Altec 639 series, it didn't obscure the performer's face. The frequency response was quite flat and low, medium and high impedence options were easily switched. The stand had a built in vibration isolator (shock mount) and there was an internal ribbon protection mechanism. The mount was guaranteed for life on this model.  As far as I can tell this item is all original.

It was tested on my guitar amp pa without a preamp and it sounded great. The condition of the mic is excellent. The output is a 1/4 inch male plug which is unbalanced.
